“E-Motion came at a really great time for me... I thought I’d never laugh again. And then I started to laugh.”
The Movement Community Experience:
The Movement Community is a free 8-week, in-person group experience for people who are living with a life-disrupting loss. It combines movement—like walking, hiking, or biking—with intentional grief support, held in community with others who get it. Each group includes 15–20 grievers and is guided by a trained E-Motion Facilitator. The group meets weekly, and participants are expected to attend 80% of gatherings. To learn more about the Movement Community model, please visit our page here.
“Joining a movement community was like catching a wave. Like instead of treading water, I was catching a wave with all these other people and it completely changed my grieving experience.”
